PRS Guitars reveals new acoustic and electric models for 2019

The 2019 range features three new electric guitars: a new semi-hollow model of the CE-24, a revamp of “Paul’s Guitar” and an SE Custom 24 with ziricote finish.

Paul’s Guitar leads the pack, featuring a stunning mahogany body and maple tops, Honduran rosewood fretboards, intricate bird fret inlays and a nitrocellulose finish. According to PRS’ website, the guitar offers the master luthier’s  “latest discoveries surrounding tone”, featuring TCI treble and bass pickups- humbuckers with the ability to switch to single-coils.

New acoustic guitars will also be launched, with six models sporting new wood, colours and aesthetic options. The SE A55E & T55E are immediately the most striking, boasting PRS’ Private Stock aesthetic and quilted maple back and sides in Abaco Green and classic Black Gold Burst. The ziricote finish also appears on the back and sides of the SE A6OE and T60E acoustics, while the SE A5OE and T4OE round out the range with modest new burst colour options for the 40 and 50 series.

PRS is distributed in Australia through Electric Factory.
