The new Bedford SH models, which are crafted in D’Angelico’s offshore factory in Korea, feature a basswood body with a three-piece C-shaped neck crafted from walnut and maple and an ebony fretboard, which is a fairly delicious combination. These new models are fitted with Seymour Duncan Five-Two singlecoils in the neck and middle and a Seymour Duncan SM-1B mini humbucker in the bridge, with a five-way selector switch letting you enjoy a wide spectrum of clean and crunchy tones. Check out the video below, featuring none other than cosmic Ccuntry guitarist Daniel Donato, to get a grasp of what you’ll be tackling here.
D’Angelico are also creating two different variations of the Bedford SH: one with a classic Tune-o-matic and stoptail bridge, and the other with a Stratocaster-like tremolo system. Elsewhere, the new models feature fancy mother of pearl fretboard inlays, and come in a range of finishes: Trans Wine, Matte Black, Matte Wine and Matte Rose Gold.
D’Angelico Guitars are distributed in Australia via Jack’s Music.
