The G6636T Falcon Center Block Double-Cut sticks out amongst the swathe of new editions in Gretsch’s Player Edition range. The new Falcon sports a slightly smaller 16” double-cutaway body and a chambered spruce centre block, enhancing body resonance for more organic tone. Similarly, the G6659TFM Broadkaster Jr. Center Block Single-Cut and G6659TG Broadkaster Jr. Center Block Single-Cut feature a smaller, 14” single-cutaway body and chambered spruce centre block. Apart from being more lightweight, each of these models are still the same beasts as before, packing signature Gretsch gilded hardware and two High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups.
Plenty of new models have earned a new finish, including the G6620T Nashville Center Block Double-Cut, now available in a flash new Round-Up Orange, the G6228 Jet BT with V-Stoptail in a Candy Apple Red, the G6659TFM in a Bourbon Stain flame maple, the G6659TG in Azure Metallic and the G6228FM Jet BT Single-Cut with V-Stoptail with a Crimson Stain finish over its highly-figured flame maple top.
