The concept of these Gradation finishes, a gradual wood darkening which was first introduced on the Ibanez AZ242F TSG Premium Tequila Sunrise Gradation model last year, has now been utilised on acoustic models for a stunning aesthetic.
The Ibanez AW80CE now features a frothy Brown Ale Gradation finish – just in time for OktoberFest. It also sports a solid Sitka spruce top, Okoume back and sides, a Nyatoh neck and an Ovangkol fretboard and bridge.
On the other hand, the AW84CE is decked out with a Vertical Natural Browned Burst, and kind of resembles a Kit Kat in some way. It also features an all Okoume body with a Nyatoh neck and Ovangkol bridge and fretboard, as well as an Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup with an AEQ-TP2 preamp.
