J range

The J range is every bit Gibson. Having handcrafted American tonewood and elegantly designed frame work, the new J-45 offers a classic mahogany body and mother of pearl inlays with Sitka spruce top covered in walnut back sides with a maple neck.

The updated range comes in 5 different variations of the better known workhorse; the J-15, J-35, J-45 standard/progressive/custom rosewood/vintage and for the first time ever, the J-45 modern cutaway.

SJ range

The SJ range remains true to what resonates most in Gibson fans. Staying original in every way, the SJ range affirms a dreadnought body design, new thermally aged Adirondack red spruce enhanced top, custom vintage hide glue top bracing and basking in genuine mahogany covering the back and sides.

With a smoother finish and enhanced polished compounds, the SJ series also offers the SJ-100 which has a beautiful walnut back and sides and a hand-crafted Sitka spruce top. Rounding the new additions of the SJ range is the Bob Dylan signature Players Edition SJ-200, which delivers high performance based off Dylan’s personal guitar. Also apart of the SJ-200 range is the SJ-Vintage and the Standard.

Playing at the heart of Gibson’s dreadnought line is the Songwriter Range. Still young, the Songwriter series showcases three new guitars, the Songwriter Studio, Studio EC and the Cutaway Progressive. Displaying the finest feel and playability, the range shows off its superior set up, using state-of-the-art German Engineered Plek technology to create the finest playing surface possible. Providing supreme tonal quality, the range’s finishing oil lasts longer and maximises the wood’s natural vibrancy.

The Hummingbird series lies at the epicentre of Gibson’s versatility. With spacious mahogany and keeping to its family’s Sitka spruce top, the Hummingbird hails as the crown jewel for players wanting to nail down rhythm while bask in the series ability to perform under the thumb of any musical style today. The Hummingbird comes in both the standard Hummingbird and the Hummingbird Vintage series. Both guitars within the series offer a hand-shaped bone nut and saddle, offering original detailing for the pickgaurd’s hand-painted design.

LG-2, L-00

Producing a sound much bigger than its size, the LG-2 helps maintain an even-flow and offers both handcrafted classic tonewood and Sitka spruce. The L-00 range focuses on clarity and focus in the players individual notes, where it’s ideal for such genres as Folk, Blues and finger style playing. The L-00 acoustics are a commemoration of the early 30s Gibson guitars, aiming to capture the heritage with a combination of Sitka spruce and mahogany. The small body design help project a concise and direct sound that is unlike any small body design.

Capping off the astonishing new Acoustic range from Gibson is the HP series. The HP line sees five new additions: the HP 415 W, 635 W, 665 W, 735 R and 835 Supreme. Encompassing everything we loved, with round shoulder cutaway, a traditional build and new body design, the new HP series opts for comfort and is highly responsive to nuances of different playing styles. Fitted with a flatter fingerboard radius, the HP series shows easy of use and playability anywhere on the neck. Offering high performance and unleashing the guitars players potential, the range keeps giving with unlimited potential.
