The iRig HD2 features 24-bit analogue-to-digital conversion and a best-in-class 96kHz sample rate that delivers clean, noiseless guitar signal to work with all devices. It also has an input gain control for dialling signals into play. The new interface includes a Lightning cable to connect directly to the iPhone and also has an integrated headphone output jack that has preamp and level control abilities. For those technophiles out there who already have an iPhone 7 that lack a headphone output, the iRig 2 serves as a viable option for recording and monitoring.

What’s more, the iRig 2 has a new Amp Out jack that lets players use their iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC live on stage with any amplifier and no need for any special adaptors. With the output controlled by a new instrument cable, that is all that you need to make the connection. With an in-built AmpliTube, users will have access to stompboxes, amps, cabinets, microphones, speaker and much more.
