Following the Crying Tone Wah was never going to be straightforward, but Electro-Harmonix have pretty much gone in the opposite direction with the Wailer Wah, a more traditionally enclosed Wah pedal. A lightweight construction with rack-and-pinion mechanisms, this new pedal is simple, with no knobs or switches to get confused with. Along with its simplicity, the Wailer Wah will be ‘super affordable’ according to reports and is available now overseas, so it can’t be too long before we see it here.
