All three guitars feature a new roasted figured maple neck alongside fingerboard options of rosewood and maple for the Cutlass models, and the additional option of ebony for the StingRay RS. Each model maintains its original specifications, and introduces new finishes for 2018.
StingRay RS
Featuring humbucking pickups, a modern tremolo system, and a lightweight mahogany body, the StingRay RS combines vintage styling with contemporary design to suit the modern player. The guitar is available in three new finishes: Vintage Turquoise, Firemist Silver, and Stealth Black.
Cutlass RS
The Cutlass RS offers superior tuning stability thanks to an oversized 4 over 2 headstock, plus features a smooth tremolo system and a lightweight adler body. The 2018 model sees the introduction of a new finish option for the Cutlass, Firemist Silver.
Cutlass RS HSS
Achieving vintage sound through a custom wound Music Man ceramic humbucking bridge pickup, the Cutlass RS HSS meets the expectations associated with its name by also retaining familiar elements such as an adler body and modern tremolo system. You can choose from two finish options if you’re looking at the Cutlass RS HSS: Firemist Silver, or Stealth Black with a matte black finished maple neck.
Ernie Ball Music Man is available in Australia through CMC Music.
