Epiphone Just Released Guitars With Built-In Bottle Openers

There’ll be four guitars in total, glowing with a bright white finish as the new limited edition signature models for KISS’ Tommy Thayer, In Flames’ Björn Gelotte and Trivium’s Matt Heafy – who gets both a six and seven string model with his name on them.

The two Matt Heafy SnØfall models are based upon a classic single-cut Les Paul design – named after Trivium’s Silence in the Snow album, which served as the model’s inspiration. Both guitars are also loaded with white EMG pickups and have matching white Phenolic fingerboard to complement the guitar’s Alpine White finish.

Tommy Thayer’s getting a new all-white White Lightning Explorer, complete with Custom Metallic White finish, a pair of Seymour Duncan JB Humbuckers, a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners and a custom hard case.

However, the truly interesting features lie within the Björn Gelotte Jotun Les Paul Custom. Though a more traditionally-crafted Les Paul Custom design, the guitar is finished in Bone White, loaded with a set of EMG Metalworks Active pickups, a mahogany body, an ebony fingerboard, Grover Roto-matic tuners – and an all-important stainless steel bottle opener on the rear of the guitar, for cracking cold ones mid-solo.
