Featuring a classic Explorer profile, Malia’s signature Walnut finish and a vintage ‘Artisan’ inlay, the Explorer Custom Artisan is a modern take on a classic design.
Epiphone have used a smooth Torrefied Composite fingerboard for this model to adhere to CITES regulations along with a mahogany body and mahogany neck with a ‘1959’ Rounded ‘C’ profile. The guitar combines a Gibson P-94 single coil for rhythm with an 84T-LM humbucker pickup for leads to achieve Malia’s distinctive tone.
The Explorer Custom Artisan also comes with a custom gigbag and a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Lee Malia.
