Cort Releases New Electro Acoustic Guitar With Madagascar Rosewood

Covering the back and sides with Madagasar Rosewood, the new addition to Cort’s family promises attributes and characteristics similar to the well-known Brazilian rosewood. Offering a brighter sonic liveliness and a noticeably stronger build, the new MR Dreadnought provides a Venetian cutaway and offers easier upper-fret access, while being fitted with Cort’s classic bone nut and saddle.

The 20-fret rosewood fretboard has a 25.3 inch scale and is equipped with a sonicore pickup and Presys preamp that gives the player more control with a 3 band EQ, tuner and phase control.

This time around, Cort have designed a scooped surface bridge that enhances a greater string angle and allows long-sustained notes. This is also allows reduced tension controlled sound across the guitar.
