Producer Princess Nostalgia built the pack around glitchy, machine-like vocal chops for beats, left-field pop and more.

Princess Nostalgia has built a free pack of vocal chops for Audiomodern’s Playbeat, leaning into machine-like textures. Cybervox collects rhythmic, robotic and otherworldly vocal grooves that are ready to drop straight into the app. The Italian-American producer is known for pairing moody atmosphere with punchy, forward-thinking sound design, and both sides show up – a nostalgic streak alongside glitchy vocal rhythms and machine-like patterns.

Playbeat itself is an AI drum designer that relies on randomisation to generate new patterns and sounds. Feed it the Cybervox samples and its Smart Engine can spin out endless variations from the same material, so no two takes have to land the same way. Inside Cybervox are 30 fully unlocked presets and more than 150 custom samples. Because the presets are fully unlocked, you can reshape, randomise and customise every sound and pattern inside Playbeat rather than being stuck with them as they come. The samples can be reshuffled and remixed into fresh variations too, so the same pack throws up combinations you didn’t plan on, leaving room to take the vocals somewhere more otherworldly.

The pack suits experimental beats, electronic grooves, left-field pop or cinematic rhythmic layers, and imports to any device running Playbeat on desktop or iPad. Cybervox works across all major DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic Pro and FL Studio, and needs Playbeat 4 (version 1.0.0 or above) to run.
