Plini announces Impulse Voices Australian tour and masterclass sessions

Words by Will Brewster

He'll be supported at all shows by fellow shredder Stephen Taranto.

Hot off the heels of his stellar 2020 release Impulse Voices, Sydney-based instrumental sensation Plini has announced a string of tour dates to bring the album to venues around the country this winter.

Check out all the latest touring news here.

The 2021 Impulse Voices tour will see Plini and an all-star band of Chris Allison, Jake Howsam Lowe and Simon Grove tear up the East Coast over three days in July to perform shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, with fellow master shredder Stephen Taranto supporting him at all shows.

Additionally, Plini and Stephen will be delivering a musical masterclass and Q&A together before each show, giving eager fans the chance to pick their brains about technique, routine and creativity.

“It was definitely a little strange releasing a new album without being able to celebrate it with live shows, but being able to announce these three (and hopefully more soon) has me and my band over the moon,” Plini said of the Impulse Voices tour in a statement shared today.

“Going to be practising like crazy, putting together a new setlist… I’m even a little excited just to coil cables after the shows. See you all soon!”

Check out all the dates and details below. Tickets are on sale now – best not to hit the snooze button on these shows.
