The Pete Wentz Artist Series StingRay Bass is available in Black or Fiesta Red, both with a roasted maple neck and fretboard. A simple H – 1 Alnico V Humbucker is controlled by a single volume and tone control, offering classic, balanced and bolstered tones that StingRay’s and humbucking pickups are known for. Quality hardware including open gear tuners, a gold pickguard and a Sterling by Music Man-Designed Bridge complete the bass, offering a modern look on a classic design, Wentz offering his own take on the bass with a Custom Pete Wentz Loon on the 12th Fret that compliments the otherwise black dot markers.
Of the bass, Wentz said:
“For me, a bass has to stand up and be able to play a lot of different songs. On this tour, we’re doing more than 20 songs. These basses come backstage, they go out – I play at front of house or I go out and play near the lawn, and they’ve held up for all that. I treat them well, but I also am who I am on stage and they’ve held up under those circumstances.”
The release allows fans and players the chance to play the same bass that Pete is playing on the international So Much For (Tour) Dust tour.
The bass has launched worldwide for pre order. For local enquiries visit CMC Music.
