The iconic Britpop anthem reaches its milestone anniversary as the band prepares to kick off the Australian leg of their historic Live '25 world tour.

Oasis is celebrating three decades of “Wonderwall” with a limited edition box set, as they arrive in Melbourne for their first Australian performance in years. The track, which has amassed over 3 billion streams and holds 12-times Platinum certification in Australia, originally topped the ARIA Singles Chart and claimed the number one position on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 1995.

To commemorate the anniversary, the band has announced a limited edition (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? 7″ Singles Box Set, replicating the highly sought-after 1996 CD cigarette-style box. Available for pre-order now and releasing on 12 December, the collection features four 7″ singles with 2014 remastered versions of “Wonderwall”, “Some Might Say”, “Roll With It”, and “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, complete with their original B-sides.

The announcement follows the recent release of the (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, which includes a brand-new unplugged version of “Wonderwall”. That release charted at number two on the Official UK Albums Chart, with MOJO describing the album as “indestructible” and Record Collector noting it as “the moment Oasis truly became the band of the people.”

Fans can also pre-order the 25th Anniversary Edition of Familiar To Millions, the band’s first live album recorded at Wembley Stadium. Releasing on 14 November via Big Brother Recordings, vinyl will be available for the first time since its original 2000 release, including an exclusive limited edition silver vinyl pressing.

The Live ’25 tour, dubbed the “biggest rock comeback in history” by The Sunday Times, kicks off at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium tonight, with five sold-out Australian shows scheduled between now and 8 November.
