Pink Floyd’s founding drummer and the band’s only constant member since their 1965 formation, Nick Mason originally assembled this supergroup — named after Pink Floyd’s second album, 1968’s A Saucerful Of Secrets — in 2018, for the fans. His original plan for the band was to revive Pink Floyd’s pre-The Dark Side Of The Moon material, much of which had not been played live to audiences for decades.

A cornerstone of the legendary band, Nick Mason is a master drummer and a foundational force in progressive rock history. His rhythmic finesse and innovative style significantly contributed to Pink Floyd’s distinctive sound.

Mason’s drumming is characterised by its tasteful simplicity, providing the backbone for Pink Floyd’s intricate compositions. His work, from The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, to Animals showcases his ability to blend atmospheric textures with precise percussion, crafting a sonic landscape that resonates with audiences across generations.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful of secrets features Mason alongside an all star lineup including Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, former Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, guitarist Lee Harris and keyboardist Dom Beken, all of whom powerfully re-enliven a curated selection of songs from the iconic band’s halcyon formative years.

During the upcoming Australian shows, fans can expect a setlist featuring songs from Pink Floyd’s early discography.  The sold-out houses and ecstatic worldwide critical acclaim that the group have amassed around the globe speak volumes, with a five star from the Financial times raving:
