Jack Black announced the news to a lucky Nashville audience at a show last weekend, saying “we went over to his house today and recorded a brand new song,” the Tennessean reports.
The song will be released on White’s Third Man Records label, Black said, the same label that released The Raconteurs’ (known in Australia as The Saboteurs) album Help Us Stranger last month.
The Jacks first met back in June in a coincidental Heathrow Airport crossover while each band was travelling back from respective gigs. A Tenacious D instagram picture captured the moment, with Gass and Black giving a shoutout to the “new merch guy”…
