Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth) is a long time fan of this American singer-songwriter and states that Vile’s old soul voice is noted as being a breath of fresh air in the digital age and that the record is “all air, weightless, bodyless, but grounded in convincing authenticity, in the best version of a singer songwriter upcycling”.
