Four scholarship places are available for female and non-binary individuals to join the year-long Master Your Music program.

Music Production for Women (MPW) is offering four scholarship places for female and non-binary individuals to take part in their year-long Master Your Music program, providing each recipient with over $10,000 USD ($15,000 AUD) worth of educational resources.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Supported by Distrokid, ICMP and MPW, the scholarships allow recipients to access weekly remote masterclasses covering music production, mixing, music marketing, sound design and more. Applications close at midnight on 5th December (AEDT).

“It has been incredible to see the transformative impact of this scholarship on the lives of previous recipients, including providing opportunities to artists with disabilities and to those facing financial hardships,” says MPW Founder Xylo Aria.

Masterclasses will be taught by experts in their field, including UK MPG award-winning vocal producer Ramera Abraham, who has worked with artists including Adele, Stormzy and Little Mix. US-based artist and producer Lillian Frances, who has shared stages with artists such as Sylvan Esso and Shakey Graves, will also contribute to the program.

Beyond the masterclass access, students will receive monthly group mentoring sessions designed to help them achieve their music goals for the year. Access to a supportive and safe community rounds out the offering, creating a comprehensive learning environment for participants.

The remotely delivered program spans one full year, making it accessible to participants regardless of location. To take part, you’ll need access to a laptop and headphones—that’s all. The flexible online format means students can fit the learning around existing commitments while still benefiting from live interaction with instructors and fellow participants.

These scholarship places are specifically designed to support those facing financial hardship who could not otherwise afford to be part of the course. By removing the financial barrier, MPW aims to ensure that talented individuals aren’t held back by their economic circumstances.

Previous scholarship recipients have demonstrated the program’s impact, with many going on to develop professional skills and connections that have advanced their music careers. The year-long structure allows for genuine skill development rather than superficial knowledge, giving participants time to absorb, practice and master new techniques.
