Sound System partnership
Sound System represents a fresh take on rhythm gaming, returning to classic arcade roots while building around free music, streamers, and community-driven gameplay. Players can play guitar, sing vocals, and create their own note charts for any track. The game is scheduled for PC release in spring 2026, with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox versions in development.
Sound System will be fully optimised for the InfinaKore controller, featuring a dedicated Pro Mode with competitive DDR-style scoring and missed note penalties. Beyond this, the InfinaKore is designed to work with Fortnite Festival—which averages 2.2 million daily players—and community favourites like Clone Hero, which maintains 75,000 active monthly players.
Modular design and accessibility
The InfinaKore features fully modular construction with customisable components, including the body, fret buttons, tuner head, whammy bar, and strum bar. 3D print files will be made publicly available at launch, allowing further customisation. Drakong claims this is the world’s first rhythm game guitar designed with accessibility in mind, with open-source mods provided to support players of all abilities.
A new Fret-Tapping D-Pad control system introduces fresh gameplay mechanics for both veteran players and newcomers. Connectivity options span wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth, with platform compatibility varying by edition. The Xbox Edition is officially licensed for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, handheld PCs, smartphones, and smart TVs. A Multi-Platform Edition supports Nintendo Switch, PC, handheld PCs, smartphones, and smart TVs.
The controller’s design honours the Telecaster’s 75th anniversary in 2026, bringing Fender’s iconic guitar silhouette to modern rhythm gaming.
