Licensing Representative – APRA AMCOS (Sydney)

OneMusic, an APRA AMCOS-helmed licensing division based in Sydney, are on the hunt for a Licensing Representative to join their team and assist in day-to-day duties.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Experience in working to set KPIs
  • Prior sales or retail experience with external clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Internet research skills experience
  • Proven strong negotiation skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Working pro-actively to achieve quarterly target figures and KPIs

Artist Relations and Communications Rep – Sony Music Australia (Sydney)

Want to join forces with one of the biggest record labels operating in the world today? Sony Music Australia are looking for a new Artist Relations and Communications Representative to join their Sydney offices and assist the Television Promotions & Communications department.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Communications degree would be advantageous but not essential
  • Industry and artist relations experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote
  • Required current Driver Licence and car
  • Passion and will to work in the music industry

Executive Assistant – Sony Music Australia (Sydney)

Another Sony gig – this time, you’ll be assisting the marketing team and helping to plug the label’s many releases to the general public on a day-to-day basis.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5 years+ Executive Assistant experience supporting at Vice President/ General Manager or equivalent level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Discretion, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the music or entertainment industry is desirable but not essential

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • To provide support on all day-to-day operations
  • Diary management for the two (2) Executives; booking, rescheduling and arranging meetings
  • Answer and screen telephone calls and enquires
  • Domestic and international travel coordination inclusive of flights, accommodation, cars, itineraries and related expenses

Graphic Designer & Digital Content Coordinator – Nightlife Music (Brisbane)

Nightlife Music is a premium music subscription service that deals with a broad range of hospitality, fitness, retail and tourism clients. They’re hunting for a talented Graphic Designer with experience in Digital Content Creation to join their Brisbane office and support brand and marketing campaigns.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Supplied and proven examples of work. Creative portfolio to be supplied
  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or design equivalent preferred but not essential. Individuals currently completing their studies will also be considered
  • 3+ years industry and/or personal design experience
  • Proficient in Adobe CC, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere
  • Digital marketing and social scheduling application software experience preferred but not essential

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • 2-3 years experience in music project management
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the local music industry and digital landscape from implementing artist campaigns, marketing strategies, and related concepts
  • Have an extensive knowledge & network within the music industry (i.e. managers, lawyers, publishers, booking agents and labels). International experience is preferred

Formerly known as Ministry of Sound, TMRW Music are on the lookout for a music-savvy lawyer to join their offices on a full-time or part-time basis. This position would best suit an early stage lawyer with a passion for music, and is based in TMRW Music’s Sydney office.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • An LLB, LLM, JD or equivalent qualification
  • Admitted to practice Law in any State or Territory of Australia
  • Must hold a current Australian State or Territory practicing certificate
  • Have 2-5 years’ experience as a qualified lawyer (ideally gained in a national or boutique IP firm or in-house of a large corporate)
  • Knowledge of or previous experience with IP and/or Commercial Law in music, events or related industries
  • A passion for music, entertainment and culture
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A desire to build a career in media and entertainment law
