Campaign Manager – Untitled Group (Melbourne)

The team behind the likes of Pitch Music & Arts Festival, Beyond The Valley, For The Love and more, Untitled Group are one of Melbourne’s premier live event companies, and they’re looking to make the most out of the post-COVID gigging boom in 2021. They’re currently hiring a Campaign Manager to assist in marketing strategy and get those events off the ground throughout the year.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Marketing Degree or similar
  • Minimum 4 year’s experience in a similar Marketing role
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Time management and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of social media, Facebook Ads Manager, YouTube and Google Ads.

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting Head of Marketing with the overall Marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Supporting Head of Marketing with the strategy and roll out plan for a campaign
  • Creating briefs for Content Creators – Graphic Designers, Web Developers, Photographers, Videographers, Influencer Marketing

Senior Marketing Manager, Partnerships – Live Nation (Melbourne)

Live Nation are one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world today, and their presence in Australia is unparalleled. They’re on the search for a full-time Senior Marketing Manager to deal with Partnerships on a ten-month maternity leave contract.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Relevant marketing experience, preferably in entertainment marketing, event management or advertising agency

Senior Social Worker – Support Act (Sydney)

Dubbed the hand and heart of the Australian music industry, Support Act are hiring a qualified social worker to provide artists and music workers with mental health support. This permanent part-time role will see the successful applicant work 22.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours on offer.

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Appropriate qualification in social work and eligibility for membership of AASW
  • Postgraduate clinical experience of two years preferably in a not for profit with knowledge of welfare and statutory agencies in NSW
  • An understanding of the issues facing music industry workers
  • Experience in holistically evaluating the circumstances of people in need of help
  • Direct experience and demonstrated skill in working with service users facing a range of issues such as homelessness, alcohol and drug addictions, sexual abuse and acute mental illness
  • Disciplined work practices and ability to work independently from home
  • Demonstrable emotionalintelligence, empathy and strong interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ethical working practices, including confidentiality
  • First class advocacy skills
  • Innovative and creative with high levels of enthusiasm, influence and energy
  • Well-developed organisational skills and computer literacy (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a team environment

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support to the National Welfare Coordinator to ensure effectivedelivery of the Crisis Relief program
  • Assist with the management of the Social Work and Social Work Admin staff as required
  • Assist with pre-assessment and distribution of applications from service users to Social Workers as required
  • Manage a caseload as required, including ongoing contact with service users and their families
  • Maintain case files, records and data in line with professional standards and organisational policies
  • Provide weekly reports / updates to the NWC, CEO and management team in relation to agreed KPIs
  • Liaise with the Database Manager to ensure the efficient utilisation and management of the Apricot Client Management System

  • Maintain a knowledge of government and community services and other bodies
  • Help maintain and implement approved policies and procedures to facilitate an efficient application process
  • Provide input into the development of new policies and procedures as required
  • Help to promote a service environment that is non-judgemental, caring, respectful and confidential to internal and external clients
  • Work constructively & collaboratively as part of a busy team, meeting with colleagues remotely and occasionally in person
  • Maintain supervision with appropriate supervising social worker

One of Melbourne’s coolest clubs to open in recent years, Colour is on the hunt for a young up-and-coming booking extraordinaire to join their ranks on a casual basis.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Some level of involvement in the Melbourne music community.
  • Tech savvy/ digitally adept, with a personal computer.
  • Able to work in a small team.
  • Capable of building strong relationships with artists and promoters.
  • Innovative in thinking about music spaces and how they might adapt over time.
  • Some degree of marketing experience, with understanding of Facebook/Instagram.
  • Competency in G Suite and know how to use either a mail client or gmail.

Tasks / Responsibilities Include: 

  • Work in a team of two to program two levels of band/DJ entertainment from Wed-Sat, with some special events on other days (Sun-Tue, public holidays). This must be done 6-8 weeks in advance.
  • Logistics associated to your bookings- creation of runsheets including set times, access, tech requirements, riders.
  • Creating Eventbrite ticket links and Facebook events.
  • Hosting artists on nights that you have booked shows.
  • Ensuring that all events are well promoted and selling tickets.
  • Securing tight deals where everyone wins.
  • Bringing in private hires and functions that fit with the general vibe of the venue.
  • Reaching out to find a diverse range of DJs, bands and promoters. Specific focus on those just starting out.
  • Establish a creative, inclusive culture which supports people in the arts.
  • Work with other venue staff and management to ensure best practice for the venue.
  • Attend functions and events for professional development
