Artist Development & Label Coordinator – Island Records Australia (Sydney) 

A part of the Universal Music family, Island Records are looking for looking for someone passionate about artist and musician development to join a like minded team. Working on one of Australia’s leading music companies, the role reports directly to the General Manager of Island records a label that boasts acts like Tame Impala, Hilltop Hoods, Vera Blue and more. 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Compile regular data & insights reporting on artist campaigns and activity to key internal and external stakeholders as directed
  • Assist the Artist Development team with day-to-day artist requests and reporting
  • Run presentation slides, video & audio at weekly label and partner meetings in person and over zoom
  • Administer weekly ARIA chart forms and documents related to all Island Australia and associated labels repertoire and releases
  • Compile and distribute label release schedules and related documents
  • Electronically service tools, audio & video to partners
  • Assist artist development team with artwork and asset making and distribution
  • Make all travel bookings for the label where applicable and as directed
  • Assist with compiling guest lists
  • Organise suppliers and catering for launches and events
  • Book couriers and collect deliveries
  • General admin support to the GM and MD of the label
  • Attend artist showcases, gigs and industry events

Skills / Experience required

Part time Import/Export Specialist- Fender Music Australia (Sydney)

Fender are looking for an applicant to report directly to the Logistics and Distribution Manager and assist in planning and direction of the shipping of Fender guitars and making sure the axes meet all shipping and invoicing regulations. 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Primary contact for Australia or Foreign Customs inquiries
  • Create export documentation and liaise with export partners and 3PL to schedule shipments
  • Monitor and report import/export trend to internal parties as necessary
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, FMIC and 3PL to obtain necessary import documents and schedule inbound shipments
  • Create & reconcile CITES permit applications
  • Communicate inbound shipment schedule to internal parties (Sales, QI, Marketing and CS)
  • Other tasks as required to support Logistics and Distribution field
  • Analysis and reporting on international transportation volume
  • Participate in foreign trade analysis as needed
  • Documentation of import/export processes and recommendations for process improvements
  • Support the Global Transportation department as required

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Required: High School Certificate
  • Preferred: Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of international transportation terms 
  • Thorough understanding of import/export procedures
  • Thorough understanding of various import/export regulations/Authorities
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail

Sales, Administration & Customer Engagement Coordinator – Yamaha Music Australia (Melbourne)

Yamaha Music Australia’s Education Division is seeking a driven and ambitious Sales, Admin and Customer Engagement Coordinator to join their team. Looking for an individual with previous education experience, the role will be the face of the music school, requiring the applicant to have excellent stakeholder management and customer service experience in an education environment.   

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • You will also use your exceptional marketing and communication skills to further promote Yamaha Music Education
  • Engaging with customers, teachers and businesses
  • Enrolling new students while crafting great content to send to our families across Australia as well as managing class scheduling and marketing content for our programs

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Tertiary marketing qualification or similar field

Graduate Audio Engineer – Rode Microphones (Sydney)

Rode Microphones is looking for passionate, talented and dedicated Audio Engineering Graduate to join their team. Responsible for providing insight and feedback on various NPD projects, Rode are looking to add more depth to their state of the art testing plant to keep providing quality products for creatives. 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Usability and functional testing for new hardware and software products throughout the development process
  • Reporting on the test results and providing the development team with appropriate feedback
  • Assisting the team with set up and pack down of equipment for NPD projects

Music Administrator – WME (Sydney)

WME (William Morris Endeavor) are seeking an ambitious and career orientated individual to join their Music Department in their Sydney office. Looking for an individual that is both professional and passionate about the music industry, the Music Administrator will operate as the foundation of the WME Music Department and support the Assistants and Agents. 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering phones, rolling calls
  • Scheduling and maintaining meetings/appointments
  • Assist with preparation of itineraries, meeting notes and special projects

Sound & Music Post Producer – Rumble Studios (Sydney)

Rumble is looking for a Mid-Weight Sound & Music Post-Producer to join its production team at their Sydney studio. The role will help producing and creating content for the advertising industry with TVCs, online content & radio, but also work on TV, short films, animation and much more. 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with agencies, production companies and voice/acting agents to quote and schedule projects.
  • Briefing engineers and music producers on projects.
  • Managing projects throughout the post-production process, including voice casting, booking talent and file management.
  • Reconciling and invoicing projects upon completion.
  • Networking, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients, freelance and full-time team members.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Have a minimum 2 years experience in the industry 
  • Have experience supervising post production on commercials, short films or features
  • Have a strong sense of client services 
  • Have project management skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be highly energetic and people oriented
