After the success of the American Series released last year, Jackson today launch a new, bolt-on neck model expanding their American Series: The Virtuoso.
Built in USA, the Jackson Guitars Virtuoso is a dual-humbucker, Floyd Rose equipped electric with an alder body and (this one’s a mouthful) five-piece multi-laminated caramelised maple/maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods. The fretboard is a beautiful streaked ebony fingerboard, giving the whole guitar some aesthetic texture, offset by a striking colour palette of Virtuoso finishes.

For modern playability, the Virtuoso has a shaped and carved “hand-shake” neck heel, providing comfortable access to all 24 jumbo frets. The fretboard has a 12″-16″ compound radius, flattening out toward the top end of town for easier bends, all held in tune by a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners. The Virtuoso is available in Mystic Blue, Satin Black, Satin Shell Pink and Specific Ocean with a matched headstock.
The Virtuoso joins the American Series Soloist in a new range of American made Jackson Guitars, built out of the Corona, California factories. The Soloist varies in that it has a neck-through design, paying tribute to the classic design from Jackson, while the Virtuoso’s bolt-on design ends itself to a tighter, more controller tone.
