SAE CAMPUS OPEN DAY

SAE is inviting aspiring audio engineers, filmmakers, animators, gamers, designers, photographers and other creatives to tour the world-class campus, meet the staff and experience a range of live demonstrations.

Attending the Open Day will be Stephen Watkins, winner of the 2010 Young Creative Achiever of the Year award, Australian big wave surfer, Mark Matthews and award-winning film maker and director, Macario De Souza. Alongside them will be Head of Games at SAE Brisbane and games curator, Dr Christy Dena and former lead singer and songwriter from Killing Heidi, Ella Hooper.

From a small campus in North Fitzroy to one of the largest campuses worldwide, it’s clear SAE are stepping up their game. The new campus will allow their capacity to almost double. General Manager of SAE, Lee Aitken has said “We’ve equipped the campus with the best facilities to support hands-on learning, including a 360 square feet sound stage where students can build full-size film sets, high-end recording studios, control rooms and post production studios, student art gallery, Wacom tablets for design and animation and Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets for 3D gaming”.

The leading global provider of creative media education offers up government-approved and internationally recognised diploma and degree programs in six disciplines: film, audio, games, animation, design and web & mobile. Head down to the open day and get your creative juices flowing!

PUBLIC OPEN DAY:
January 30 – 235 Normanby Road, South Melbourne
