“The Hordern Pavilion is one of Sydney’s all-time favourite venues and I can’t wait to lead the team transforming this precinct into an even greater drawcard for our community,” shares Dunsford.
Playbill Venues is making a significant investment in this heritage venue, opening up its shared forecourt plaza, and inviting the community to enjoy this new entertainment space. With plans to host a wider variety of different events and performances, the Hordern Pavillion will amplify its position as one of Sydney’s premier destinations for live music, culture and entertainment.
Dunsford has worked at many of Sydney’s most significant destinations, including Sydney Airport and Taronga Zoo. He’s also managed some of Sydney’s most diverse outdoor event spaces, such as The Domain and Centennial Park. Anthony has been described as having “a great appreciation for the social and economic value that events bring to our community.”
Dunsford will play a key role in the new and exciting chapter at Moore Park, bringing together the collaboration with the joint venue partners, the Sydney Swans.
Looks like the Hordern’s woes are over… for now.
