Tasks / Responsibilities Include: 

  • Plan and execute the 12 month Digital Marketing Strategy Control the Digital Marketing budget. Collaborate with global marketing teams to present a globally aligned branding message.

  • Build advertising campaigns locally in alignment in with global assets and strategy. Program regional Social media channels using pre-existing and locally generated content.

  • Proactively pitch stories to Australian Media. Develop relationships with key media contacts to improve reach. Build Regional Campaigns utilising pre-existing assets.

  • Specify any regional assets or content where required for in-house production. Coordinate ecommerce promotions. Analyse performance of all Digital channels to achieve growth and meet KPI’s.

  • Regularly communicate with Australian Dealers to deliver global marketing insights and specific regional messages. Report achievements regularly to local and global teams.

  • Monitor social media channels and engage with the community.

OPERATIONS MANAGER – WESTERN AUSTRALIAN YOUTH ORCHESTRAS (Perth) 

Everybody knows that it’s best in the West, and that couldn’t be any more applicable to the isolated state’s burgeoning local music industry right now. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to hop the border, here it is: the Western Australian Youth Orchestras are seeking a savvy individual to join their tiny team and help coordinate things in the office and on the road. 

 

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Music/Arts

  • High level of knowledge regarding classical music, score r ading, orchestras and orchestral instruments is essential

  • Working experience in an office or retail environment will be highly regarded

  • Knowledge of concert venue operations and orchestral staging and production requirements

  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients, customers and stakeholders

  • Ability to supervise staff and manage a small team

  • Confident speaking to large groups, face to face and via telephone conversations

  • Office and administrative skills

  • Advanced computer skills across the Microsoft suite, social media and web-based applications

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – UNIVERSAL MUSIC AUSTRALIA (Sydney) 

Know numbers? Know how numbers work with music? Good – you might just be the perfect fit for this gig with Universal Music Australia. They’re looking for an Accountant to join their Sydney team and assist in monthly accounts, budgets and forecasting for the label’s domestic activities. 

 

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance (CA/CPA)

  • 1 to 2 years’ post qualified experience

  • You’re a ‘Numbers Person’ and keen to work in a Business/Finance/Accounting position

  • Impeccable eye for detail, excellent problem solving and organisation skills

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and enjoys learning new systems

  • ERP Systems Experience. JD Edwards experience viewed favourably but not required

 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare monthly reporting for Company’s Domestic divisions

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly income forecast

  • Preparation of month end revenue reporting

  • Assist monthly corporate finance submissions

ALL-AGES PROGRAM MANAGER – THE PUSH (Melbourne) 

Victoria’s peak youth music body, The Push, are on the hunt for a music professional to join their team and assist in designing and instigating programs to engage Victoria’s youth. Ideally, you’ll have a background in events, social work or the music industry, and will be extensive experience in engaging with young people in the community. 

 

Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Youth Work, Community Development, Social Work, Music Industry, or other related disciplines

  • Demonstrated experience in engaging and working with young people to design and deliver programs and events

  • Demonstrated understanding of the Australian contemporary music sector, and the ways in which young people are creating and consuming contemporary music

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with external stakeholders to achieve high quality program outcomes

  • Demonstrated project management skills, leading the development and delivery of a program from inception to acquittal

  • Big ideas and strategies to support The Push to be relevant and responsive for future music industry leaders and audiences

  • Victoria Police Background Check

  • Full Australian Driver’s License

  • First Aid Level 2 Certificate

  • Working with Children Check

 

Tasks / Responsibilities Include: 

  • Lead the recruitment and ongoing engagement of young people across The Push’s suite of all-ages music-based projects and events

  • Build meaningful relationships with The Push’s community of young people – actively involving young people in the design and delivery of all projects and events

  • Provide direction and support for young people to take lead roles across The Push’s suite of all-ages programs and events – strengthening young people’s networks, participation and pathways into the contemporary music sector

  • Lead the development and delivery of The Push’s suite of all-ages events programs including Push Records, What Is The Future of Music? and the FReeZA Support Service, as detailed in The Push 2019-2021 Strategy

  • Develop and manage individual project plans and budgets within the scope of The Push’s annual budget and organisational targets

  • Undertake project evaluation and reporting obligations in a timely manner. This includes regular reporting requirements to funding bodies and The Push Board of Management

  • Collaborate with the Communications and Community Engagement Manager to develop a targeted marketing strategy that effectively reaches young audiences to achieve program deliverables and KPIs

  • Collaborate with the Training and Development Manager to develop resources and materials to support the delivery of a fee for service training program – aimed at increasing engagement with secondary schools and local government FReeZA providers
