The RØDE House occupies the former Milk Intake Room of the repurposed factory space, which was founded by the same family who own Walmart, and aims to provide a unique platform for Australian and international artists to perform for American audiences. The facility was launched last weekend with a pair of solo sets from Courtney Barnett, which also marked the Melbourne artist’s first time performing in Arkansas.
The state of the art venue boasts a seated capacity of 360 people and can squeeze in 600 standing patrons, and also features an adjustable flooring system that allows for the room to be easily reconfigured depending on each artist’s stage requirements. There’s also a fitted bar, presentation rooms and audio production provided by none other than RØDE themselves.
