The Bon Scott Estate has announced a program of events, limited-edition collectibles, apparel collaborations, and exclusive content to mark what would have been the rock icon's 80th birthday on 9 July 2026.

Forty-six years after his passing, Bon Scott remains one of the most legendary figures in rock and roll history – and his 80th birthday is shaping up to be a huge celebration.

The Bon Scott Estate, in partnership with exclusive licensing and merchandising partner Perryscope Productions, has announced a wide-ranging program of events and releases to honour the AC/DC frontman’s milestone birthday on 9 July 2026. From limited-edition collectibles to tribute events spanning multiple continents, the scope of the celebration reflects just how enduring Bon’s legacy truly is.

On the collectibles front, Neumann is partnering with the Estate on a limited-edition signature product to be released on Bon’s birthday. The Perth Mint will issue limited collector’s edition 1oz silver and 1oz gold bars bearing Bon’s name and likeness, following its sold-out 1oz silver proof coin from 2024. Collectible statue specialists Knucklebonz will release their third Bon Scott edition, this time based on iconic imagery from the 1978 Powerage tour.

Apparel collaborations are also part of the mix, Dixxon Flannel Co. will launch a second limited-edition Bon Scott flannel shirt in Heritage Tartan, while Copa Football Jerseys will release a collectible “Bon 80” football jersey – both drawing on the officially registered Bon Scott tartans created with Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers of Edinburgh. Artist and Mental As Anything founding member Reg Mombassa has designed an exclusive commemorative artwork available on posters, t-shirts, and more.
