Gibson Les Paul ’70s Deluxe

Offering a period-correct revival of one of their best-selling models, Gibson have reissued the hefty Les Paul Deluxe from their ’70s production era. These reissue models feature all the same specs as the originals, including a heavy non-weight relieved mahogany body and round C neck, bound maple top and an Indian rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.

To seal the deal, these new ’70s reissues are loaded with a pair of era-correct mini humbuckers, as well as modern upgrades such as Orange Drop capacitors, Graph Tech NuBone nuts and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece.

Available in classic finishes like Cherry Sunburst and Gold Top, these Les Pauls would make for the perfect addition to any budding rocker’s collection. Keep your eyes peeled for them in the wild!

Epiphone Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth

A signature offering for Texan blues rocker Emily Wolfe, this new Epiphone Sheraton features some killer tweaks to make it one hell of a signature guitar. Featuring a Black Aged Gloss finish, this guitar boasts diamond-style f-holes similar to Dave Grohl’s Trini Lopez model, which is complemented with gold hardware and mother of pearl / abalone lightning bolt block inlays on the fretboard.

Other features include a laminated maple top and centre block to alleviate feedback, as well as a 24.75″ mahogany neck with a ’60s SlimTaper ‘C’ profile and Indian laurel fretboard. For pickups, you’ll find a set of Epiphone Alnico Classic ProBucker 1 and 2s, with a three-way selector switch, two volume and a tone control letting you flip between tones.

In the hardware department, the Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth features Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut and a LockTone Pro bridge, and comes shipped in a sturdy EpiLite case.

Ibanez AMH90

Another slick modern hollow body – this time, it’s Ibanez with their brand new Artcore Expressionist AMH90. This one’s available in Black or Cherry Red Flat, and boasts a linden body, three-piece nyatoh/maple neck with a 22-fret bound Macassar ebony fretboard and abalone dot inlays.

The Ibanez AMH90 is loaded with two Ibanez Super 58 pickups wired to two volume and tone controls, as well as a three-way pickup selector switch and Tri-sound toggle, giving your pickups three different voicings with the flick of a switch.

Elsewhere, you’ll find a Gibraltar Performer bridge, VT06 tailpiece, gold hardware and a cool tortoiseshell pickguard.

Recording King Matte Black Dirty ’30s Resonator

A noted favourite amongst the blues faithful here at Mixdown HQ, the Recording King Dirty ’30s Resonator has received a new Matte Black makeover to make it all the more stylish rolling into the new year.

This guitar boasts a spruce top with a pedestal-style sound well and hand-spun 9.5″ cone, as well as a nato neck, whitewood back and sides, ovangkol fretboard and biscuit bridge.

D’Addario XT String Range

Launched back in 2019 as their most technologically advanced offerings yet, D’Addarios’s XT Strings have been upgraded to cater for a wider range of instruments. This means even more players can access the high carbon steel cores and extended life treatment of this popular string series, and treat their instrument to the crisp tones they deserve.

Now available for resophonic, seven-string, six-string bass and baritone acoustics, the D’Addario XT range also comprises of individual Nickel-Plated Steel, Phosphor Bronze and Plain Steel single sets, as well as multi-packs for electric and acoustic guitars. Go check them out today!
