Looking to show your support for Australian Music T-Shirt Day?
2024 is the 70th Anniversary of the most played, most recorded, and most searched-for guitar on the planet—the Fender Stratocaster. To honour this anniversary, Fender has partnered with Support Act, Australia’s celebrated music photographer Tony Mott, and guitar hero and Stratocaster player Mark “Diesel” Lizotte to create a one-of-a-kind t-shirt for Australian Music T-Shirt Day. The image on the t-shirt was taken in 1987 by Mott and features an early Diesel Fender Stratocaster, which later became the prototype for his Signature Fender Stratocaster, released in 2018.
The Fender Stratocaster is arguably the most prolific electric guitar body shape of all time, a music icon in and of itself, having served musicians for 70 years.
