Marking his first collaboration with the musical instrument brand.
Dhani Harrison grew up playing the ukulele, which soon became an integral part of his song-writing process. He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer, working with the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wu-Tang Clan and Pearl Jam to name a few. A legend in his own right, although you might recognise his fathers work in a relatively well known band… THE BEATLES!

“Dhani is a world-leading talent and we are seeing more demand for ukulele instruments than ever-so this collaboration made total sense to us. Dhani worked hand-in-hand with us to create his ideal ukulele, incorporating design elements that are deeply personal to him, which we hope will encourage people allover the world to express their own individuality and creativity.” says Billy Martinez from the Acoustic and Squier divisions of Fender.
The Dhani Harrison Signature is a tenor-sized ukulele that ships in two different finishes, each with a unique custom fretboard inlay and engraving on the back. It’s designed for live performance, built from ovangkol wood which provides a warm sound character.
Upgraded Fender electronics provide high quality output and an adjustable tone knob will allow you to sit in the groove as you see fit. The inbuilt pickup preamp means this 3/4 body depth ukulele is ready to plug and play straight out of the box.
Harrison says about this release, “The first time you get handed your own signature model says something about you – a reflection of your design and what you choose. I’m really, really happy.”
This new model is available now with an RRP of $549 in Australia.
