Blues prodigy Christone "Kingfish" Ingram adds a new colourway to his signature series, paying tribute to his Mississippi roots.

Fender has launched the Kingfish Delta Day Telecaster Deluxe, a fresh take on Christone “Kingfish” Ingram’s signature model. Following his original Mississippi Night edition, this new colourway honours the blues guitarist’s hometown heritage with a design that balances tradition and modern performance.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Recognised early for his exceptional talent, Kingfish has evolved from local sensation to global blues torchbearer. His raw playing, soulful vocals and mature songwriting have captured the attention of both new audiences and seasoned players, positioning him as the leading voice of contemporary blues.

The Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe doesn’t mess around when it comes to specs. Two custom humbucking pickups deliver the growling, overdriven tones essential for blues-rock, while an adjusto-matic bridge ensures perfect intonation across the fingerboard. The roasted maple neck features a classic “V” profile that feels immediately familiar in the hand, paired with a 12″ radius slab rosewood fingerboard designed for chunky tones and wide bends.

Fender has also released a new episode of From the Factory Floor featuring Kingfish performing “Voodoo Charm,” “Bad Like Me,” and “Nothin’ But Your Love” on the Tele. This offers an up-close look at how the Telecaster Deluxe handles everything from subtle dynamics to full-throttle overdrive.

This Tele bridges vintage aesthetics with contemporary playability, giving players the tools to explore blues traditions while pushing the sound forward. The Kingfish Delta Day Telecaster Deluxe has the grit and presence to sit confidently in any mix, from traditional Chicago blues to whatever direction you want to take it.
