With a panel appearance at JBL's Tour Summit in Ibiza and a market-ready VTX rig, Elite Event Technology is operating at a different level.

Elite Event Technology’s Darren Russell travelled to Ibiza in June 2026 for JBL’s Tour Summit – an invite-only event for the operators and production directors running audio on the world’s biggest tours. Russell was asked to speak on the industry panel, joining a conversation about where live touring is headed and what high-performance production looks like in different markets.

Back home, Elite’s JBL inventory is ready to go. The company recently completed one of the largest JBL VTX and Crown deployments in the Asia-Pacific region – 96 VTX A-Series line array elements across the A12, A8 and A6 models, 50 VTX B-Series 18-inch subwoofers and a full Crown amplification complement. Rigging hardware, drive racks and supporting infrastructure are all in place. The full Elite team has completed hands-on training covering hardware, rigging, software and deployment, delivered by MadisonAV’s Peter Kubow and Dale West from HARMAN Professional Support Services, who flew in from Harman’s Northridge headquarters for the programme.

The VTX inventory is now available across two streams: Elite’s own productions and dry hire to other providers. Australian touring companies and audio contractors needing rider-approved JBL VTX stock now have a local option.

Elite has also added JBL PRX and SRX packages to support mid-scale events, corporate productions and regional touring across its Canberra, Sydney and Illawarra operations.
