BIGSOUND 2025 announces final speaker lineup including Coachella curator and triple j legends.

The Southern Hemisphere’s biggest platform for live music discovery will unveil its complete conference program on Wednesday 23 July. BIGSOUND has confirmed its final round of industry heavyweights from Australia and internationally, including representatives from Goldenvoice, Creation Collective and ABC Music.

International juggernauts joining the lineup include Rene Contreras from Goldenvoice, curator of Coachella’s Sonora Tent, and Andy Clayton, Head of Talent & Touring at Creation Collective for events and festivals throughout Asia and Australia. They join leading Australian figures including music icon Richard Kingsmill, Laneway Festival Director Jessie Parker and Nat Waller from ABC Music.

The conference program explores key themes including festivals, export opportunities and artist development through unmissable sessions. Tuesday’s opening discussion First Word: One Brilliant Thing features industry leaders from UNIFIED Music Group, Vinyl Music Group and ARIA offering perspectives on where Australian and international industries are heading.

triple j will celebrate 50 years at BIGSOUND 2025 with a dedicated panel examining the youth station’s pathways for discovery and exporting Australian music globally. The station will bring back popular servicing sessions where artists pitch music directly to triple j programmers. Nina Las Vegas celebrates 10 years of her groundbreaking Australian label NLV Records with a panel of label partners marking the milestone in underground music innovation.

BIGSOUND Director of Programs Mandi McIntyre described the 2025 program as featuring guests of exceptional calibre who prioritised participating in this year’s event. The conference aims to create programming of international standard while remaining relevant to the Australian music ecosystem.

Discounted second release tickets end on 5 August or when sold out. All-access delegate passes start from $399 for students, while three-night festival tickets begin at $65 for under-25s.
