14.2mm diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated drivers help minimise distortion and extend clarity across the frequency range. Two onboard sound modes let users shape the experience – Phantom Bass lifts the low-end response for a fuller sound, while Immersion Mode dials back ambient noise for more focused listening.

The Cetra Open Wireless uses Bluetooth for everyday pairing across mobile devices, while ROG’s SpeedNova 2.4GHz wireless technology delivers ultra-low latency for in-game audio sync. The included USB-C dongle – ROG’s first with one-way passthrough charging – keeps the connection live while charging the host device, which is a practical addition for longer sessions.

With ergonomic liquid silicone ear hooks, the Cetra Open Wireless is built for all-day wear, and a detachable reflective neck strap adds stability during workouts or outdoor use. ROG has gone with physical control buttons rather than touch controls, citing more reliable input during exercise or wet conditions – a relief for anyone who’s accidentally skipped a track by brushing their ear. IPX5 splash resistance covers sweat and light rain without issue.

Battery life sits at up to 16 hours in Bluetooth mode, with RGB lighting and sound modes off and the microphone muted. A 15-minute quick charge adds around three hours of listening time.

The ROG Cetra Open Wireless is available now.
