The signature model pairs a maple neck with a Virtual Vintage Blues, Area 67 and Super Distortion pickup set.

Kramer has marked its 50th anniversary with a signature Pacer Deluxe for Malina Moye, finished in Splash Blue with gold accents. Developed with one of the most distinctive players working today, Malina Moye is the first woman of colour to become a Kramer signature artist.

Known for playing left-handed and upside down, Moye has spent more than 15 years building a career, fusing rock, blues, soul and funk. She’s performed at NBA and NFL events, major festivals and international tours, with a devoted following across the UK and Europe. Guitar World Magazine has named her among the leading guitarists of her generation, and her most recent album, Dirty, reached No. 1 on the Billboard blues chart before landing in the magazine’s top five Greatest Guitar Albums of the Year.

The guitar pairs a maple neck with skunk stripe and a DiMarzio pickup set chosen for range – a Virtual Vintage Blues in the neck, an Area 67 in the middle and a Super Distortion at the bridge. A five-way blade switch handles selection, with a master volume and two tone controls, one for the middle pickup and one for the neck, all mounted in a tortoiseshell-coloured pickguard. Hardware includes Kramer modern two-point non-locking vibrato, gold knurled knobs and Kramer locking tuners.

A left-handed version arrives as a nod to Moye’s own setup, and both ship in a premium Kramer gig bag, with a reproduction of her signature on the outside. Describing the build in the launch video, Moye says, “I really wanted to make sure it was perfect – a completely different type of Kramer. And you know what? I think we nailed something really hot.”

The Pacer Deluxe joins a busy anniversary year for Kramer, which released its 50th Anniversary Collection in June with limited runs of the 84, SM-1 HH, NightSwan, Baretta, Pacer Carrera and Volante HHFR, available only through the milestone year.

Australian players can find the Malina Moye Pacer Deluxe now through Australis Music Group.
