The upgraded KH 310 II drops into existing setups while the KH 350 adds bass-reflex low end down to 27 Hz, and both run 585W with MA 1 room correction.
Neumann has announced two new studio monitors, the KH 310 II and the all-new KH 350. Both are 3-way active speakers built on a new 32-bit DSP platform, and both bring Neumann’s reference sound to rooms of different sizes – the 310 II as a straight upgrade to an existing model, the 350 as a larger full-range design.

KH 310 II
The KH 310 II keeps the sealed cabinet and 3″ soft-dome midrange driver that made the original KH 310 a fixture in mixing and mastering rooms, then reworks almost everything around them. A new woofer, more amplifier power at 585W, lower distortion and tighter tolerances push maximum SPL 5 dB past the previous model. Neumann kept the cabinet dimensions identical, so anyone already running KH 310s can drop the new version into the same spot.
KH 350
The KH 350 swaps the sealed cabinet for a bass-reflex design that reaches down to 27 Hz (±6 dB), in a box close to twice the size and arranged vertically. A large MMD waveguide controls directivity across the full range, which keeps imaging and translation steady as you move back from the speakers. It handles both nearfield and midfield duties, and slots between the 310 II and the flagship KH 420 for anyone who wants more low-end weight without stepping up to the biggest model.
What both monitors share
Both monitors run the same 585W of amplification, the 3″ midrange driver and 32-bit DSP, plus analogue and AES3 (coaxial) digital inputs. Each works with Neumann’s MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment for room correction, and since the whole KH range follows the same voicing, you can combine either one in surround and immersive setups.
