The new POLAR 8 MK2 brings the full POLAR MK2 feature set – 1,200 watts, Bluetooth, True Wireless Stereo and a new Contour control – into the most compact and portable package the series has seen.
The new column speaker is the smallest addition to its POLAR MK2 series, and a system clearly designed for musicians and presenters who need professional-grade sound without a professional-grade road crew.

The column houses six 2.5-inch midrange drivers in a Curved Column arrangement, spreading sound at 120° horizontally and 45° vertically. That wide, even coverage makes it well suited to tricky spaces – low ceilings, conference rooms or venues where the audience surrounds the speaker. An integrated 8-inch subwoofer handles the low end, kept tight and controlled by a reinforced, low-resonance enclosure. A 1,200-watt Class D amplifier powers the whole system, while onboard digital processing keeps the sound clean and balanced at high volumes – targeting only the problem frequencies rather than clamping down on everything at once. The new Contour control lets you blend continuously between DJ, Music and Voice settings rather than jumping between fixed presets, a kind of flexibility that’s handy when a room or event changes quickly.
The built-in three-channel mixer covers two mic/line inputs plus an aux/Bluetooth channel, so a vocalist, DJ or presenter can run their whole setup straight from the unit. Bluetooth 5 keeps the wireless connection stable, and two POLAR 8 MK2 units can be paired together for a cable-free stereo setup using True Wireless Stereo.
