The Pro Plus Series model brings extended-range capabilities to the Periphery guitarist's signature line.

Get ready to shred: Jackson has released the Pro Plus Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut ET7, adding a seven-string option to the Periphery guitarist’s signature collection.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Built for modern and progessive metal, the ET7 features a 26.5-inch scale length with a poplar body and caramelised bolt-on maple neck. The neck includes graphite reinforcement and an oiled back finish for comfort during extended playing sessions. A 20-inch flat radius ebony fingerboard comes loaded with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, rolled edges, and offset dot inlays. Luminlay side dots help with navigation on dark stages, while a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel makes setup adjustments straightforward.

Specs at a glance:

  • 26.5-inch scale length, seven-string configuration
  • Poplar body with caramelized maple neck
  • Ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets
  • Uncovered Jackson MM1 humbuckers
  • EverTune F7 Model bridge for tuning stability
  • Five-way switching with push/pull tone control
  • Luminlay side dots
  • Metallic Black finish with matching headstock

Misha Mansoor worked directly with Jackson to develop the MM1 humbuckers, which are deliberately left uncovered. This adds a distinct brightness that cuts through even under aggressive picking, while maintaining balance and dynamics across the frequency spectrum. A five-way blade switch, single volume and tone control with push/pull select opens up plenty of tonal options.

Maybe the most crucial feature for extended-range players is the EverTune F7 Model bridge. This keeps the guitar locked in tune and maintains perfect intonation all the way up the neck, which is most important when you’re working in alternate and lower tunings where even slight inconsistencies are obvious.

The guitar ships in Metallic Black with a colour-matched Jackson 4×3 AT-1 headstock and black hardware. Rounding out the package are Jackson sealed die-cast locking tuners, Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons, a set of Horizon Devices Progressive Tension Standard 7 strings, and a gig bag.

The ET7 gives players who need an extra low string a proper tool for progressive metal without compromising on playability or tone.
