Boasting a premium ash body with a natural velvet finish, this guitar is built for playability, speed, and a deep rich tone emanating from the guitar’s custom-made Music Man ‘60s style single-coil pickups. The new design is also fitted with EBMM proprietary split-coil design pickups that will aid in reducing hum.
The Dart II includes dual volume controls but interestingly omits tone controls, leaving that purely in the hands of the player.
With a custom artist series neck plate, 22 frets and custom gauge .045-.105” Ernie Ball stainless steel round wound bass strings, this guitar is heavy duty.

“The design aim was for high speed, smooth playability on the neck, and a deep, rich Music Man tone from the pickups, all on an old-school passive bass,” Dart said.
“I think we nailed it, and I think I’ll be playing it on stage for years to come.”
The Joe Dart II is now exclusively available from the Ernie Ball Music Man Vault. Head to CMC Music for local enquiries.
