Limited to 1000 models worldwide, the Epiphone Limited Edition Slash Firebird is available in two editions: the standard edition and the slightly more upmarket Premium Outfit, limited to 900 and 100 models respectively.
Both guitars feature a pristine AAA flame maple top on a three-piece mahogany body, as well as a pao ferro fretboard and Slash’s own Seymour Duncan open-coil humbuckers. Kluson Reissue Firebird banjo-style tuners are also included on the model, as well as a Switchcraft 1/4 jack, a classic Epiphone Tune-O-Matic bridge and the extra security of Epiphone straplocks. Slash’s classic skull and top hat logo make an appearance on the pickguard and headstock of the guitar, while the neck also features Slash’s preferred neck profile for optimized shredability.
For superfans, Premium Outfit Slash Firebird’s are handsigned and numbered by Slash on the back of the headstock, and come with a custom hardcase, strap and certificate of authenticity. Check out Slash giving the model a whirl below, and stay tuned for more news when the guitar hits stores later this year.
