After opening up a new office space in Melbourne in the last 12 months, the CEO of Sony Music Australia has announced that they'll be opening a new space in Brisbane next month.
As reported by The Music, the announcement was made last night by Sony Music Chairman and CEO Denis Handlin AO at the Queensland Music Awards, where he was presented with an award in recognition of his 50 year stint with the company.
Handlin mentioned in his speech that the facility reflected the company's dedication towards supporting the local industry, revealing that the space would be located near Fortitude Music Hall in the Valley, saying that "As a commitment to the local industry, I am thrilled to let you know that we will be opening exciting new premises in Brisbane next month. It will be in the Valley just around the corner and it will be great to be here in this creative precinct."
The facility is also said to incorporate a studio and writer's rooms, and may open as early as next month.
