Bluesfest announces its first round of 2020 sideshows

One of the most important jazz guitarists to have ever lived, George Benson, will be taking his distinctive guitar chops to Sydney’s State Theatre and Melbourne’s Palais in early April. Despite turning 77 next year, Benson shows absolutely no signs of slowing down, and is renowned for his fretboard mastery even to this day. If you’re a budding guitarist or jazz fanatic, these gigs will be unmissable.

Bluesfest Touring are also sending alt-country star Brandi Carlile off for a jaunt down the East Coast in April before taking the trek up to conquer Byron. Carlile is the absolute epitome of an American success story – she was nominated for six Grammy Awards at this year’s ceremony and ended up taking home three – so it’s fair to assume that tickets for these shows won’t last long.
