OXYGEN:INHALE, released in August of last year, is said to be the most dynamic album of the band’s career. Their concept was to create a raw, honest record avoiding any studio trickery. In this way, they were forced to solely rely on their performance skills. The listener can hear fingers sliding along the fret board, the metallic ring of cymbals and vocals that sound like they’re two feet away.
Their ethos was to present a more natural form of music, something that counters the ever-increasing artificiality of the pop industry. The album allows the listener to engage in the kind of intimacy that is generated from a live performance.
