The album features the original line-up of David McCormack, Glenn Thompson, Paul Medew and Matthew Strong. It was recorded over the length of a single weekend in Thompson’s studio, and features 11 new songs- their first new material since 1999’s Loverama. According to Thompson, Custard’s bassist, the album sounds exactly like their earlier stuff, it ‘could [have] been an album that [they] put out in 2001’.
In light of this, they’ll be touring nationally on the back of Come Back, All Is Forgiven throughout December, hitting up Melbourne’s The Toff In Town on the December 5. Tickets are currently available through moshtix.com.
Come Back, All Is Forgiven will be released on November 6 through ABC music.
