Music Teacher – Yamaha Music Education
Yamaha Music Education is recruiting casual Music Teachers to teach group classes in keyboard and music fundamentals for children from 3 years of age at their Perth Schools.
Skills/ experience required:
- Minimum Grade 8 AMEB Piano standard or equivalent
- Availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays and at least one weekday (after school hours from approx. 4pm-7pm)
- Good with children
- Self managing
- Good initiative and proactive style
- Responsible, reliable and punctual
- Flexible and open to a new approach
- Outgoing personality in a classroom environment
- Passionate musician
- Comfortable singing voice

2. Visit a Yamaha Music Class (to see if this is right for you)
3. Music Audition (to evaluate musical ability)

Industry and Experience Manager – Collarts
Collarts is currently looking for a great people-person with excellent communication and organisation skills, and an even better knowledge of the inner-workings of the music and entertainment industry to fill the role of Industry and Experience Manager at their Melbourne office..
The primary objective of this role will be to develop strong relationships with current students, alumni and relevant industry partners to enrich the student experience, maximise the opportunity for graduate success, and promote Collarts as Australia’s premier arts college within the music and entertainment industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the music and entertainment industry in order to enrich the experiences of Collarts students and alumni, through the development of partnerships, workshops, events, and placements/internships
- Developing an alumni program that identifies, recognises and supports Collarts graduates
- Contributing to the delivery of an excellent experience for Collarts students by overseeing student engagement activities, such as orientation week activities, guest lectures, special events, social activities, and industry nights

Music and Sound Design Lecturer and Senior Lecturer – University of Technology Sydney
UTS has a bold vision to be a world leading university of technology. The new Music and Sound Design program at UTS aims to develop student expertise in digital music and sound design using a variety of flexible and portable technologies. Emphasis is given to versatility in using different software and hardware as and when appropriate. UTS intends its music and sound design program to be internationally recognised and industry relevant as a centre for excellence in teaching, production and research and the two advertised vacancies are crucial to attaining this goal.
UTS is seeking to appoint a Music and Sound Design Lecturer and Senior Lecturer. Both appointees will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching, coordination and provision of the undergraduate program, maintain active research profiles, and attract high quality students into the Honours, Masters and PhD programs.
Skills/ experience required:
- A PhD / doctoral degree in relevant discipline
- The ability to demonstrate substantial knowledge of and experience in digital music and/or sound design and an ability to teach units in this area to undergraduate students with mixed levels of production experience
- A significant record of achievement in creative practice and/or publication related to digital music and/or sound design.
- Significant contributions to teaching at a tertiary level, with demonstrated experience with the development and delivery of curriculum and course materials for a variety of teaching modes including online and flexible delivery
- An extensive publication record including publications in journals of international standing, experience with the preparation and submission of grant proposals, and contribution to research teams
- Recognised contributions to the music and sound industries in terms of research outputs, community and professional engagement.
