The tour is in support of their debut album Oh Inhuman Spectacle which was met with rave reviews upon release earlier this year. The album was touted as the best so far in 2015 by the Herald Sun and was named Triple R’s album of the week,as well as being labelled “truly addictive” by Beat magazine.
The hype surrounding the band has translated into them supporting San Cisco nationally, as well as Courtney Barnett, Oh Mercy, Holy Holy and Abbe May in their hometown of Perth. The trio of Jake Webb (Vocals/Guitar), Chris Wright (Drums) and Thom Stewart (Bass) will be hoping that this tour is the start of bigger things for Methyl Ethel.
