zplane PEEL STEMS allows you to split apart Drums, Bass, Vocals and Other; more instruments like guitars, keys and more, with spectral isolation available for further detail, but more on that later! Loading the plugin directly into your DAW—you read that right, no external hosts, plugins or software— allows you to quickly and easily split up the stems from a track. Easily remove the vocals to re-do sections, or simply lower them to assist you in re-balancing while you’re mastering a track. Easily put together a “karaoke” style version of a song to practice to, or bounce ideas back and forth between songwriting partners without having to export separate stems.
Startlingly easy to use, PEEL STEMS allows you to remove, re-balance, remix or refine your audio—all within your DAW of choice, meaning there’s no need to upload files and export within a browser.
Visual cues are provided by a colourful frequency and stereo visualiser, allowing you to easily target areas of the frequency spectrum, using PEEL STEMS to adjust each of the four bands. Use PEEL STEMS’ Focus EQ to hone in on specific parts of the audio signal, according to their frequency or stereo content. Isolate the crack of the snare in the centre of your signal at around 8kHz, or drag the Focus Frame further down the Soundfield Display to isolate the attack of your bass guitar. PEEL STEMS’ second stereo output allows you to route the isolated and muted signals separately, giving you deeper processing control.
