Available now as a free update, UAFX 2.0 brings USB MIDI support to compatible pedals with 128 recallable presets, MIDI BPM clock sync, and real-time expression control. For touring musicians who’ve been requesting this functionality, it’s a game-changer—UAFX pedals can now slot into complex live rigs without the workarounds.

UA hasn’t stopped at MIDI. They’ve rebuilt the Bluetooth system from scratch for better reliability, redesigning the UAFX app to make wireless control more stable. If you had connectivity issues with the original version, this addresses those frustrations head-on.

Wired USB-C control is also included, letting you connect directly to the UAFX app via USB (iOS or Android) when you need rock-solid reliability in the studio or on stage. UAFX Amp Pedals now offer additional footswitch options through performance modes like Live and Tour (A/Bypass-B/Bypass), plus A/B-C/D switching. Moving between presets mid-performance no longer means bending down to tweak settings.

Fourteen UAFX pedals are getting the update: amp emulators like the ANTI 1992 High Gain Amp, Dream ’65 Reverb Amplifier, Lion ’68 Super Lead Amp, and Woodrow ’55 Instrument Amplifier, plus effects pedals including the Astra Modulation Machine, Del-Verb Ambience Companion, Galaxy ’74 Tape Echo & Reverb, Golden Reverberator, Starlight Echo Station, and OX Stomp Speaker Emulator.

You can download the update through the UAFX app. For touring pros and studio players alike, MIDI integration brings UAFX pedals up to speed with what modern pedal boards need: deep control without sacrificing UA’s sound quality.
